Dear Khun Wimut,
First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is PUNCHALIT CHOTIK-SATIEN. I'm working as Business manager of PSP (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. reponsible for Internet solution. I, myself, love travelling so much and the astronomical trips are my favorite. I have some suggestions for you as listed below :

1. On-line Registration for people who like to be an amateur astronomer.
2. People could buy any book interactively.
3. Bulletin Board System for activities.
4. News Categories.

It is just my comment. Please feel free to share.
Regards,
Punchalit Chotik-satien

Thank you very much for your valuable comments. On-line registration and net-shoping features need a credit card no. TAS has not provided ordering by credit card yet, but it may be possible in the future.

We already have "TAS Bulletin" and "Star Party and Meeting" pages. They provide astro-related news and our activity calendar.

You said you prefered astronomical trips. Have you ever joined a star trip? Where did you go for stargazing?

Hi Khun Wimut,
Online Registration and Net-shopping feature by credit card cannot be implemented in Thailand now because of analog signature is required by goverment law. But I think that you can create a page that looks like an existing hard copy registration form. Then people can print it out and fill in the information with thier credit card number and analog signature. Then TAS confirms the membership by fax, email and web page up to their need. Just my opinnion, please feel free to correspond in this topic.

I used to see a total solar eclipse at Klong Lan last time with my friend without any astronomical equipment. The latest trip is Hyakutake at Kanchanaburi, with a well-known astronomer, but I cannot remember his name. A News reporter from Jor Sor Roi ( JS 100) was there with us, she reported all night. It was very exciting. We also saw Hale-Bopp that night!

That's all my stargazing trips.

The astronomer you refered to maybe Dr.Rawee Pavilai. I would like to invite you to join our TAS star party. The next outing will be on 8-9 March, Korat, followed by the final trip of this season in early April.

Now the TAS homepage is under revision. The new version will be released sometime this week. So bad that I am not familiar with graphic/image programs e.g. Photoshop,Corel. Otherwise the TAS homepage would be much more elegant.

The Bulletin pages are not very up-to-date. I will pay more time for it.

Hello Khun Wimut,
I'm quite busy recently but I'll try to visit and explore TAS homepage. Keep up your effort to build a nice one. I think that a good page is not only about beautiful graphics, the usefulness of it is the bottom line. I promise that I'll be tracking this site and help you think about it until you're bored. I can't join the trip next week. Thank you for your invitation.

TAS homepage was changed a lot and will be shown at an exhibition at UN center beginning tomorrow. However, your suggestion about registration form is kept for the next version. It will be implemented definitely. Thanks again for your comments.
